UNIVERSAL COUNTING MACHINE

Location by vision

The counting machine uses the artificial vision technology derived from quality control, it works by recognition of shapes. The camera located on top of the machine locates and defines the products passing on the belt.

Processing power

Using data coming from the camera, the computer processor counts and locates the products going through the system in order to split them into predetermined batch sizes.

Instant selection

In order to achieve an accurate batching, a " comb " of shot-bolts is located across the conveyor. The computer activates the different parts of this " comb " to instantly allow the correct amount of products to go through and stop the others.

Respect of the product

The counting machine was designed to respect the following criteria:

  • The batches must never contain less products than the number programmed
  • The movement of the comb must not damage the product

User friendly

The setting of the parameters is done with a light pen. The whole system is very easy to use, one training day is enough, even for people without any computer skills.

Unlimited database

The standard version of the counting machine can store up to 99 configurations of products.

An additional storage is possible through a removable memory card (PCMCIA format)

It is possible to centralise on a computer all the information coming from one or several counting systems. Thus the person in charge of the production can, from his office, choose the type of product and its packaging, and monitor the production at any time.
